Artists in Schools
totem wall
This project successfully brought together generations through art, culture and storytelling. Working alongside JB Fisher and Daniel Warrulukuma, students explored their totems, Songlines and family connections to Country, creating paintings that reflected their cultural identity and inherited knowledge. The resulting mural not only transformed a prominent space within the school but also created a lasting visual representation of the interconnected clan groups of the region. This project was supported by the NT governments artist in schools’ program.
