Returns

We appreciate and value our customers and hope you are happy with any purchase you have made.  

Without interfering with any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), if you are unhappy and wish to return your purchase, we will offer to exchange or otherwise refund you the value of the purchase price of your artwork, less any freight costs incurred by us in doing so.   

To request a return for any reason, you must notify us, via email, within 7 days of receiving the artwork. Items returned or exchanged must be in their original condition with any　accompanying documentation received for your accepted return or exchange to apply. 

If any artwork has failed to comply with a consumer guarantee under the ACL, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. 

INDIGENOUS ART CODE

The purpose of the Code is to establish standards for
dealings between Dealers and Artists to ensure:

– Fair and ethical trade in Artwork;

– Transparency in the process of promotion and sale of Artwork; and

– That disputes arising under the Code are dealt with efficiently and fairly.

We accept your offer to purchase when we receive the order from you and when we receive your payment for our artworks and other items for sale as well as any applicable delivery costs using one of the following payment methods: direct bank deposits or credit/debit card payments.  

Artwork sold will be packaged and shipped as soon as possible.  Please note that on rare occasions, power outages and other issues affecting the stock housed in a remote location may mean that an Artwork listed for sale on our website may no longer be available for sale.

Should any purchased Artwork be no longer available, we will notify you of this as soon as possible and provide a full refund within five business days.

We reserve the right to refuse your order (in whole or part) if an ordered item is out of stock, discontinued, otherwise unavailable or unable to be shipped to the address specified for delivery.

We make every attempt to ensure the accuracy of information contained across this website. However, we remind viewers that cultural information is interpretive and evolves over time.  

We work hard to provide the best products we can.  However, all our products are provided on an “as is” basis, and to the extent permitted by law (and except as otherwise provided in these Terms and Conditions):

All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars ($AUD) and include local taxes (GST) where applicable. If you are purchasing an item for delivery outside of Australia, note that there may be duties or taxes specific to your country applied to your purchase. These are not included in the price of the item and will be your responsibility to pay. Export permits may be required for certain items and dispatch may be delayed while permits are obtained.

You will pay the costs of delivery of the item and where applicable, transit insurance.

We do our best to ensure that artwork colours display accurately online, however you expressly acknowledge that characteristics such as shape, dimensions and colour may differ slightly between the photographic image(s) and the physical artwork itself. 

Unless otherwise described, items are sold in good condition consistent with their nature and age. Where provided, any condition report reflects our good faith opinion and is not a comprehensive conservation report.

Please clearly nominate a delivery address at the checkout. We will arrange delivery to the address you provide, using reputable carriers and packing appropriate to the item.  

We will notify you on dispatch and provide tracking where available.

Every effort is made to ship artwork as quickly as possible and within a reasonable time. Specific delivery times cannot be guaranteed. Please keep in mind that you are purchasing something from a remote community. Minimum delivery time is usually two to three weeks after the item has been
dispatched by us.  

If a delivery is refused or uncollected and the item returned to us, we may charge redelivery or storage fees.
