The Learning on Country (LOC), Arafura Swamp Rangers (ASRAC) and Bula’bula Arts Fish Trap Project was an pportunity for Rangers and LOC kids, filled with hands-on learning and cultural sharing. The Rangers shared stories with the children of traditional fishing techniques, teaching them how to use fish traps in the old ways, methods that are no longer in practice today.

Bula’bula Arts supported the project by facilitating artists to create the fish traps used during the activities. This project was made possible through the generous support of the Macdoch Foundation.
