In 2025, Bula’bula Arts and Black Cat Couture NT teamed up once more to create Garkambarryirri (Daybreak), a collection of 15 looks celebrating Yolngu culture from Ramingining to Gurrwiliny (Arafura Swamp). The collection brings together ancient stories, hand painted by Bula’bula Artists, with the creative direction of Black Cat Couture NT, led by Marcia Russell in Darwin. Known for combining vintage sewing patterns with First Nations designs, Marcia has been sharing her skills in remote NT communities since 2017.

Garkambarryirri (Daybreak) premiered at Country to Couture, an Indigenous Fashion Projects showcase supported by the NT Government and Country Road, highlighting innovative First Nations fashion and cultural storytelling.
