Belinda is waku (daughter) to renowned weaver Kathleen Malpamba and gutharra (granddaughter) to the late R. Djunginy. Belinda and her sister Angieletta, learnt to weave at a young age by watching their mari (grandmother). Now they carry on that tradition, weaving together with their ngandi (mother).
