Djarrak is an early career artist who began painting at Bula’Bula Arts in 2021. She has devoted herself to the art centre painting, working as an arts worker and now a director on our board. She enjoys painting along side her ngandi (mother) Evonne Gayuwrri and mari (mothers mother) Joy Burruna. She paints story lines and song lines connected to her Wagilag clan and is renowned for her intricate depiction of ngambi (spear tip) which is an element of the Wagilag creation story.
