Angieletta is the waku (daughter) of renowned weaver Kathleen Malpamba and gutharra (granddaughter) of the late R. Djunginy. Angieletta’s ngandi (mother) and mari (grandmother) taught her to weave at an early age. She says ‘that’s how we learn from our grandmother, then she passed away and now we learning with our one and only mother, she used to show us how to do colour. Love my mum very much.’
