This painting depicts the trees that hold the native honey (gulku) also depicted in the painting are plants and animals from JB’s fathers homeland near Ramingining in Northeast Arnhem Land

The djerrka (fresh water goanna) and ngarri-ngarri (quoll-native cat) are around a special waterhole.

Also depicted are yams which grow in stone country to be cooked and eaten like potato
