Joy Burruna

Joy is the current Vice Chairperson of Bula’Bula Arts and is extremely dedicated to ensuring the business runs smoothly. She is a marvellous painter whose loves to fill the canvas with her whimsical and unique style and tell stories passed down to her from her Elders.

As well as being an artist for Bula’bula Arts, Joy is one of the Directors.

Joy loves to paint stories about Morning Star, the very special and spiritual ceremony that is  particular to her family and a few other clans in this region. She also paints the King Brown snake, lizards and fruit bats as well as fresh water stories about  long neck turtles and crocodiles.  These stories are part of her family knowledge.
